Chairman & Founder

Pastor Simon Shahzad

Pastor Simon Shahzad is a dynamic leader with over 25 years of diversified experience bridging the corporate sector, Christian ministry, and interfaith peacebuilding. As the Chairman of the Barkat Global Peace Church (BGPC) and Barkat Memorial Foundation (BMF), his life is a testament to serving the spiritual and physical needs of the most vulnerable.

Professionally, he is an accomplished Architectural Draftsman and currently serves as the Assistant Manager of Land Management at Eighteen (ORA Group). Yet, his deepest calling is his pastoral work. Serving as a Pastor and Church Leader for Emmanuel Church of Pakistan and CMFI Church International, he spearheads community outreach, youth counseling, and extensive welfare programs.

A recognized Peace Ambassador and social activist, Pastor Simon actively collaborates with NGOs to advocate for human rights and minority support. He holds key roles in the National Peace Council for Interfaith Harmony, IUDHR (Deputy Coordinator Islamabad), and the United Council of Churches Islamabad.

Christmas Ration Drive

The holiday season should be a time of joy, not anxiety over food security. Every Christmas, we identify and support over 100 families by distributing comprehensive relief packages. These include dietary staples, nutritional provisions, and festive meals to ensure they can celebrate the birth of Christ with dignity and peace of mind.

Widow Empowerment & Aid

James 1:27 calls us to care for orphans and widows in their distress. Our ongoing program provides direct financial aid, monthly grocery stipends, and spiritual counseling to widows, ensuring they are protected and sustained during their most difficult seasons of life.

Daily Relief & Peace Building

Poverty does not take a break, and neither do we. Throughout the year, we run emergency relief operations for families facing sudden crises. By meeting physical needs, we open doors to preach a message of global peace and spiritual salvation.
